I’m so thrilled to yet again be a part of this Creative Christmas Calendar, and my day is Christmas Eve of all days!
Here in Sweden this is THE DAY of all days and my daughter are like a little energizer bunny waiting for Santa and all the presents. Me, I’m just happy to sit down with some gingerbread cookies and a glass of julmust, talking to the family.
For last years’s calendar I made some lovely saffron cupcakes with lingonberry and meringue (here) on top , but this year there will only be two ingredients in the recipe. I mean it’s a busy day today, and if you forgot something sweet for dessert this gingerbread and ice cream sandwiches are just perfect.
