“Are you making a list, checking it twice…?”

With Santa almost on his way, I wanted to share these tables settings with you before we head off on our holiday travels and celebrations. By preparing these supplies ahead of time,  I’ve been able to have a pretty table on a moment’s notice this season.  Don’t you love a place card that guests can take home?

How-to Tiny Trees:
If using a little Christmas tree, wrap it’s vase with burlap. If these aren’t available near year, just make a pretty arrangement of branches and berries. Wet a paper towel and wrap the bases of the stems. Wrap this with plastic wrap, then cover with foil. If you need extra shaping, wrap this with newspaper. Once complete, wrap with burlap and secure with ribbon.  Label gift tag with name and attach to bouquet. Use as place setting or decoration and send these home with your guests.

How to Glitter balls:
Fill glass ball with glitter. I made an impromptu funnel of ordinary paper and used this to fill the balls with about 2 T glitter. Label gift tag with name, attach to the glitter ball and you are ready. I’ve used these both as place cards and on a tiered tray to similar a Christmas Tree.
