Hello December and friends. I’d like to welcome the season with a beautiful Swedish proverb that goes:.
“Fear less, hope more; eat less, chew more; whine less, breathe more; talk less, say more; hate less, love more; and all good things are yours.” —- it feels like a beautiful way to begin the month!
This year, as much as I love spreading cheer and community, I’m keeping December pure and simple — and very easy. I’m taking a small break from the annual 24 day of Scandinavian Creativity collective calendar but, every one of the past projects from the last 6 years can be found here.(HERE) + (HERE)
HOLIDAY DIY FOR YOU: Big and Small Pine Holiday DIY
In celebration of old, new, community and natural beauty. I’ve chosen two posts from earlier years that work perfectly for all ages and are a wonderful way to kick off the season. All ages could make these, but, they are two past projects that I’m posting in the spirit of side-by-side creating for you and with kids: BIG AND SMALL HOLIDAY PINE PROJECTS:
Find both DIY’s on the links under the photos and I’ve chosen two projects from earlier contributor, Arielle at ArtCamp. Thank you, Arielle. You can find step-by-steps on both of these posts + more | HERE
There will be new posts throughout December — small gifts, news and other — that are tailored exclusively for my willowday readers (like Dec 3!) so I really hope to see you again. I look forward to dropping in this month with a few new and old pieces and wish you the very best month!
